A Flourishing Company

Developing and investing

To become an international leader in spas

Groupe Nordik is leading multiple projects and gaining momentum by identifying business opportunities, getting involved, and bringing promising and large-scale projects to life. Its goal is to develop 10 spas across North America by 2027. The objective is to push the industry to new heights by offering leading and innovative experiences in a way that will transform the company into an international leader in Nordic-style spas.

Since Nordik’s adventure began, the team has proven itself as an industry trailblazer through its commitment and mission. The Nordik Spa-Nature in Chelsea, Quebec, welcomed its first guests in 2005. It has continued to innovate and evolve by introducing unique relaxation experiences, and eventually became the largest spa in North America. In 2015, Thermëa by Nordik Spa-Nature, the only Nordic spa in the Canadian Prairies, opened its doors in Winnipeg. A third Spa-Nature, in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario is currently in development: Thermëa spa village | Whitby.

Construction in progress!

A third Spa-Nature is expected to open at Cullen Central Park in Whitby, in the Greater Toronto Area. The site will extend over a 385,423 square-foot area, just 45 minutes from downtown Toronto and will be able to host up to 700 people.

The new spa will offer an innovative and multi-sensory relaxation experience, inspired by the time-tested formula of its predecessors. Guests can try the thermal cycle in all seasons through a variety of dry saunas, steam saunas, outdoor pools (hot, cold, and temperate), waterfalls, and many outdoor and indoor rest areas. A range of massages, body care therapies, and wellness rituals will also be available to further enhance the spa experience. We would like to highlight a salt-water floating pool offering spa lovers the chance to experience the extraordinary sensation of weightlessness. This spa will also have two very distinctive restaurants.

Groupe Nordik is paying special attention to the technology used in all the facilities and systems of this new spa. From the saunas to the water quality management systems to energy sources, all aspects will be analyzed and studied to reach the company’s highest quality standards and to reduce the spa’s ecological footprint as much as possible. This third spa will become the model for future developments to follow. It will be the pinnacle of perfect harmony between nature, technology, and relaxation.
